When it comes to metal processing and recycling, George Poole Metal Processors handles the whole process, from collection through to disposal.
We work with a range of domestic, commercial and industrial clients, ensuring our service is reliable, efficient and second-to-none.
Scrap metal processing
We buy all types of scrap metal - both ferrous and non-ferrous - which is taken to our premises in Clough Street, Hanley. All of our processing and sorting is carried out at this site, before the metal is sent to major export markets.
Using modern equipment, we unload, weigh and load all materials on site. All incoming and outgoing bulk loads are weighed on our 50-tonne capacity road weighbridge, while our 3-tonne capacity plate weighbridge is used to weight lighter loads and non-ferrous materials. Materials are unloaded and loaded using our rehandling cranes.
Skip container services
If you require skip container services, we can help. From 8 cubic yard (builder type skips) to 20 cubic yard Mega Bins, we can provide a skip to suit any job or collection. We´ve developed a key service portfolio working with manufacturing companies, and specialise in factory contracts. However, we also offer services for one-off jobs.
Haulage
As well as collecting and processing scrap metals we also offer a bulk tipper haulage service using a 32-tonne tipper and skip solutions system. We have delivered bulk materials for many large organisations as well as small independent companies.
Our skip solutions system services our own contract work and collections and also provides third party companies with a means to collect and transport materials under their own contracts. We carry out this type of work for major companies in the North West and West Midlands.
